Ballantine’s Sound Bar Competition


  1. Promoter: This competition is promoted by Beadica 276 t/a the Blue Bottle Group and the Ballentine’s Scotch Whisky.

  3. Competition Period: The competition runs from 24 May – 31 July 2018.

  5. Who can enter: Clients are entitled to participate in this competition if (i) they are at least 18 years old / reside in South Africa; (ii) it is lawful for them to be awarded the prize. A person may NOT participate if they are a supplier of goods or services in connection with this competition, or if they are a director, member, partner, employee, agent of, or consultant to Blue Bottle Liquors and Blue Bottle Liquor Express or any other entity which directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Blue Bottle Group, or if the aforementioned person is a spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister or business partner.

  7. How to enter: Purchase a 750ml bottle of Ballentine’s Finest or 12yr old Scotch Whisky then write your name and contact details on your till slip and place it in the entry box instore.

  9. How many times can a person enter: Clients can enter multiple times as long as they have purchased the relevant product.

  11. Prize: One (1) of Two Hundred and Sixty (260 Sound Bar Systems will be given away. The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

  13. Winner: The winner/s will be randomly selected from eligible entrants for the relevant period, one week after the closing date of the competition. An independent third party will select the winner(s).

  15. Use of participant and winner information: By participating in this competition, the client consents to allowing the Blue Bottle Group, Blue Bottle Liquors or Liquor Express to publish the winners name and photo on the Blue Bottle Liquors website and Social Media pages. The winner may also be asked to permit the use of his/her image in marketing material, to participate in marketing activities, and/or be present when the draw is taking place or the winners are announced, but he/she will be entitled to decline to do so. The winner’s details will be added to the Blue Bottle Data base for future promotions where they will have the opportunity to opt-out from receiving any correspondence at any given time.

  17. Unforeseen events: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our reasonable control, the Blue Bottle Group reserves the right to cancel the competition (before entries are received), to change the number or nature of the prize at any time.

  19. Rules: By participating in this competition, the client agrees to all the competition rules set out above, without exception. A copy of these competition rules will be made available at www.bluebottleliquors.co.za.

  21. Blue Bottle Members:
    Promotion: Store owners are to display the prize in their store to help promote the campaign. The stores must support the promoter by stocking the relevant product. The store must send a photo of the prize and product on display to marketing@bluebottleliquors.co.za within 2 weeks of the competition commencing or the prize being received. Winners: The store must select a random winner by the stipulated date above. The store is requested to take a photo of the winner collecting their prize. The store is responsible for announcing the winner in their store or on their own Social Media pages. Images of the winners to be emailed to marketing@bluebottleliquors.co.za as soon as the prize has been handed over. Campaign Images: All images taken to promote the campaign and the images used to announce the winner of the campaign will be sent to the promotors of the campaign for competition verification purposes.
